Hi people!
After several days of tropical rainstorms followed by a couple of beautiful sunny ones we have moved on to Chiang Mai - stopped off in Bangkok on the way to drop off our suitcases for storage and to pick up some provisions. We were in Phitsanulok and Sukhothai (ancient capital of Thailand) for a day each - quiet but interesting and cheap!
Chiang Mai has a huge amount of temples - some nice photos coming up soon. On to do a tour of the North tomorrow with a hired jeep. Will report again soon!!!
Hope to hear news (and weather reports - ha ha!) from home soon and that all is well with you.

Hi people!
Arrived in Bangkok today after a long day in and between airports, and have settled in well already. Visited Hard Rock Cafe in London on the way and also managed to pick up a new bank card at Picadilly Circus without too many problems. Had a nice meal and a few drinks in the Khao San Road area and are getting ready for our first excursion on the river tomorrow. So good night to all!
PS We got a Thai pay-as-you-go card for our mobiles today, so if anyone wants to keep in touch by telephone we can send you the number per e-mail.
Hallo Leute!
Also gute Nacht!!!
